Early 1960’s Omega 2998-4. SINGER made “radium lume” dial in absolutely perfect condition

ABOVE: Lathe-work…..creating an inner rotating bezel gear for a vintage Omega Flightmaster. Often these are damaged and missing teeth.

Two Lemania 1872’s services at the same time…Always great to compare. The one below must have been engraved at 15:30 on a Friday!!! Actually quite common to see, and is possibly the stores manager manually engraving/enhancing very light and worn engravings. AF 10416 looks like he did after he had a few Brandy and Cokes!!

ABOVE. An issued SAAF Lemania 1872 from the early 1970’s. The Lemania 1873 movement had many rusty components that had to be changed. Original Lemania calibre parts were sourced and replaced. Complete service and clean undertaken.

ABOVE. The 1950’s Le Coultre Co Pointer Date, with an interesting inscription on the inside of the caseback……”Lempre con te ottobre 1955″ or “Always with you October 1955”

ABOVE. 1970’s Eterna Chrono. Reference 154-FTP-3 housing a Valjoux 72 movement. Full strip down, service, stem replacement.

ABOVE. 1960’s Heuer Autavia 2446c, housing the Valjoux 72 movement.  Visual brass shavings from broken components.  Full strip and service. Replace upper 4th wheel and post, replace dial locking screw, replace ratchet wheel……Good for another 60 years!!
