Some of my favourites!

1940’s Jaeger Le Coultre Triple date. Manual wind cal P484/1A. Like new condition with an unusual steel case/ rose gold hand and marker combination. To read more about this watch, please click on the image.
The “classic” 1960’s Breitling Navitimer (Ref:806) with its original A.O.P.A instruction manual. Powered by a venus 178 movement
The original Breitling 765 was introduced in 1953 and designed to be an aviation chronograph that was cleaner and easier to read than the Navitimer with its multi-scale dials. This too was powered by a Venus 178 movement.
There were 9 versions of the Heuer 2446….each had either different hands, case or dial. This example was refered to as the “Jochen Rindt” and was the 3rd execution in its production.
1969 Heuer7863c. This was the first Autavia to show a DATE function. Powered by the Valjoux 7732. Serial numbers of this reference ran from approx 1381xx-139xxx. This example is slightly unusual as it has a Tachymeter bezel.
This Heuer 3646 was nicknamed the “Andretti”. Mario Andretti wore one of these during part of his illustrious racing career. Powered by one of my favourate movements, the Valjoux 92. This 3rd execution dialled example is slightly unusual as it is stamped “Fab Suisse”, and was made for the French market.
The Kenyan Airforce collection. All issued and all serviced yet kept in their original and non-perfect condition. All watches prior to the 1982 attempted coup have Large or small KAFxxx caseback markings while anything post 1982 was engraved with an 82AF-xxxx. The Heuer Top centre (510.501) is an example of an 82 AF marked watch and the others are KAF marked.I am actually busy with an article on these and will link it to my site once done.
One of my favourate photos of a selection of Tudor submariners. I received a catalogue from an AD and came across this picture of Mr Hand Wilsdorf…..it just seemed appropriate to surround his portrait with his lovely work!
I bought this book some years back…..sealed. I kept it for sometime without opening it and then decided that life was definitely too short to keep a wonderful story about a Great man, hidden from my eyes. The autobiography certainly doesnt dissapoint. Its a must read if ever you get the oppertunity. Once again i found it appropriate to surroung him by his fine work!
In the early 1990’s the French Navy (Marine Nationale) ordered the Avricoste Spirotechnique. It was chosen for it ruggedness and reliability in the harsh environments encountered within the Navy. This example has its decomissioning papers and its original jubilee bracelet.
